Puzzle 8 & Theme Construction Contest Results

The eighth contest puzzle has been posted.
- The meta for this puzzle is a record label that never released a Beatles album. You can solve it here. This is the final contest puzzle before the meta-meta, and it is meant to be challenging.
- A big CONGRATULATIONS (and an MMMM coffee mug) to Todd Gross who is the winner of our first theme construction contest. Check out his submission as well as those from the runners-up here.
- Contest standings are now up here. Fifteen solvers have perfect scores (7 for 7) and nine more are 6.5 for 7.
- When you’ve solved the meta, enter your answer on this page or the puzzle page. Those who submit correct answers will be put in a random drawing to win an MMMM coffee mug, and will be one step closer to the drawing for a free entry into the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.
- The deadline for sending in your answer is Sunday December 9 at 11pm Eastern Time. The solution will be posted Tuesday December 11.
